Young midfielder Abubakarr Nyakeh Massakoi has earned a place in Sierra Leone’s national U-20 squad following a series of outstanding performances at club level with East End Lions.
Massakoi, who previously played for Diamond Stars before joining East End Lions, has continued to demonstrate his quality and potential with impressive displays in midfield.
His consistency and influence on the pitch have seen him collect three Man of the Match awards. His outstanding performances at club level helped earn him recognition from the national U-20 technical team and a place in the squad.
Massakoi remains part of the Sierra Leone U-20 setup as he continues to develop and push for opportunities to represent the country at youth international level.
At club level, the promising midfielder is expected to travel on Tuesday with East End Lions for the FA Cup qualifiers, providing him with another opportunity to showcase his ability and contribute to his club’s campaign.
His progression from Diamond Stars to East End Lions, combined with his three Man of the Match awards and national U-20 call-up, highlights the steady rise of a young midfielder determined to make his mark in Sierra Leonean football.
