Leone Rock Premier League champions Bo Rangers FC have announced that they will not participate in this season’s CAF inter-club competitions, despite securing the 2025/26 league title.
In an official statement released by the club’s management, Bo Rangers thanked the people of Bo, their supporters, the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), the Premier League Board (PLB), sponsors, players, technical staff, volunteers, media, and other stakeholders for their contributions to the club’s successful league campaign.
The club described the league triumph as a reflection of the team’s commitment, resilience, and collective effort throughout the season.
Bo Rangers stated that the decision to withdraw from the CAF competition is part of a broader restructuring process aimed at strengthening the club’s foundation, improving operational systems, and enhancing overall competitiveness ahead of next season. The club said its immediate priority is to improve the squad, reinforce its technical and organizational structures, and build a stronger team capable of competing consistently at the highest level.
Management acknowledged that the decision may disappoint supporters but emphasized that it is in the club’s long-term interest. They reaffirmed their commitment to building a sustainable and competitive football structure that will enable Bo Rangers to return stronger and better prepared for future CAF competitions.
