East End Lions Secure Draw in Abidjan as Saymah Kamara Strikes

East End Lions have secured a 1–1 draw against AFAD Djékanou in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup Preliminary Round in Abidjan.

The Sierra Leonean champions fell behind in the opening half but responded strongly after the break, with Saymah Kamara scoring the equaliser to bring The Killers back into the contest.

The result leaves the tie finely balanced, with everything to play for in the return leg at the SKD Complex in Liberia.

East End Lions will now look to complete the job and secure qualification to the next round on home ground.
