Kenema, Sierra Leone – Southern Region champions JCC FC have safely arrived in Kenema ahead of the 2026 Sierra Leone Women’s National First Division play-offs, where they will battle for promotion to the Women’s Premier League.

The Bo-based side secured their place in the national play-offs after emerging champions of both the Bo District and Southern Region Football Association competitions. JCC FC will be aiming to make history by earning promotion after narrowly missing out on qualification last season.

The team arrived in Kenema on Saturday, July 11, as preparations intensify for the week-long competition, which brings together regional champions from across the country to compete for a place in the top tier of women’s football in Sierra Leone.

The Bo District Football Association, led by Chairman Abdul Ahmed Bangura and his executive, including Female Football Representative Md Jane Turay, has extended its best wishes to the team, expressing confidence in JCC FC’s ability to represent the district and Southern Region with pride.

JCC FC will begin their promotion campaign against Smart Queens on Monday, July 13, in what promises to be a crucial opening fixture in the race for Women’s Premier League qualification.
