Mogbwemo Queens have intensified preparations ahead of their tournament opener against hosts Berewuleng, scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2026, at the Independence Stadium in The Gambia.
The Sierra Leonean side continued their training at the Gold Project in Yundum, with Head Coach Adama Suma and her technical team focusing on sharpening the players ahead of the crucial opening encounter.
The latest training session was marked by focus, determination, resilience and intensity as the players worked through a series of tactical and physical drills.
Coach Suma and her technical team used the session to fine-tune the squad, ensuring the players fully understood their roles and responsibilities ahead of Friday’s encounter.
With the opening fixture fast approaching, Mogbwemo Queens will be hoping to translate their preparations into a positive performance when they take on the hosts.
The Queens are representing Sierra Leone in the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU Zone A Qualifiers, where they will be aiming for a strong campaign and an opportunity to progress to the continental stage.
