The President of the Sierra Leone Aquatic Association, Mohamed Turay, has described his federation’s meeting with the newly appointed Executive Director of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Mohamed Alphaka Conteh, as fruitful.

The meeting was held at the NSA’s headquarters on Signal Hill Road in Freetown, where both parties discussed the development of aquatic sports in Sierra Leone.

Speaking after the engagement, Mohamed Turay praised the Executive Director for the warm reception accorded to the delegation and commended his commitment to treating all sports equally.

According to Turay, Mohamed Alphaka Conteh pledged that under his leadership, every sporting discipline would receive fair consideration and support, irrespective of its size or profile.

The meeting is part of the NSA’s broader engagement with national sports federations aimed at strengthening collaboration and advancing sports development across Sierra Leone.
