The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has signed agreements with Albert Academy and Bo School for the installation of artificial playing fields under FIFA’s Arena Project.
SLFA President Babadi Kamara said the initiative aims to provide schoolchildren with a suitable environment to play football while creating opportunities to identify and develop young talent.
Under the arrangement, FIFA will provide the materials and technical experts for the installation, while local funding will be required to cover the contractor’s costs.
Representatives of both schools welcomed the initiative, describing it as an important opportunity to support grassroots football development and nurture future talent.
