Sierra Leone’s swimming team returns to the pool on Monday, 27 July, as two athletes compete in the preliminary heats of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre.
Moses Yongai will compete in the Men’s 100m Freestyle. He is drawn in Heat 1 of 9, swimming from Lane 5, with his race scheduled for 11:09 a.m. Sierra Leone time (10:09 a.m. local time in Glasgow).
Meanwhile, Halle Harris will represent Sierra Leone in the Women’s 50m Backstroke. She has been placed in Heat 4 of 6, swimming from Lane 7, with her event set to begin at 11:03 a.m. Sierra Leone time (10:03 a.m. local time).
The two swimmers will be aiming to deliver strong performances as they proudly represent Sierra Leone on one of the Commonwealth’s biggest sporting stages. Fans back home will be hoping for impressive swims as Team Sierra Leone continues its participation in the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
